Yoga philosophy has taught Vikramjeet Singh to believe in dreaming, trusting, challenging and experimenting. His motto us based on a statement that there are no mistakes: there is only learning. Vikramjeet believes that life fe is not about struggles, disappointments, or circumstances, life is about falling in love with the magic that surrounds us.
Yoga for Vikram is the necessary and important way of a self-reflection and of continuous learning rather then simply a profession. Yoga inspires him to experiment again and again, and leads him as a teacher to employ some permutation and combination into his practice also.
This wonderful young gentleman feels blessed to be born in one of the most spiritually energetic places on our planet Earth that nowadays deservingly bears the name of the Yoga Capital of the World, in Rishikesh, Uttarakand, India. Vikram’s yoga journey first of all started with immersion and under the loving guidance of his beloved parents, Avtar Kaur and Surinder Singh.
Nevertheless,Vikram’s whole life has changed when he went to complete his Post-Graduate diploma course in Yoga Therapy in Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala. That was the irreversible moment of realisation of how excited and blessed he is to be a part of the world of yogis. That was also the moment of wanting to share his love of yoga and its benefits with others.
Vikram’s practices same as his classes are a combination of the traditional Hatha yoga with the principles of Iyengar yoga and Vinyasa. The practice he shares is full of mindfulness that includes both slow vinyasa flow with classical asanas with experimental transitions into more passive postures to find your stillness through your mental and physical awareness, that as a result have holistic effect and show you the way to sink deeper into your practice.

Namaste! For me Shvasa is about enabling people to make yoga a part of their daily routine. It is the only way it will work in changing your life. All Kundalini & Chakras and Yogic texts are great, however you can understand them only if your life becomes better today. If you are able to be disease free, fitter and rise above life’s stresses and anxieties and work with your highest ability. This is the biggest outcome of doing a daily yoga class, you get disciplined, more grounded and focused and then drop everything that’s not necessary.
At Shvasa we believe that breath is the vehicle for prana or your vital life force and every practice whether it is a yoga class, meditation or pranayama focuses on conscious breathing. As a result you start breathing through your nose and then immunity happens quite naturally, it did for me. Your higher brain centres get activated and then knowledge or what’s written in yogic texts is something you remember, not something you have to struggle to understand when you read it. You also need not run after or seek knowledge. At shvasa we attempt to cut the mystery and clutter around Yoga and Meditation and help you connect to the present moment.
Another huge aim we have is to enable yoga teachers in India, who are fantastic and have dedicated their lives to yoga, earn a sustainable income and raise their salary levels. What they teach you is a way to connect to yourself and live an amazing and happy life.
