The course is excellent. It’s talking a lot more about joint health, the physiology and anatomy of the body which I feel that as a yoga teacher it’s really important to understand. Also, you know it has had an excellent impact on my physical practice and I feel a lot more stronger after practising with the wonderful teachers in Shvasa.

I really liked how the structuring of the modules were, like the theory classes specifically, where we started learning the anatomy and the structure of the body and it all tied in really well. I would say Personally for me, when I understood more about the joints or the working or how things move, it helped me do my Asanas better.

Our Latest Reviews

I loved the instruction

Truthfully I have practiced many times (several years) but my back hurts often, so I wanted to be taught beginner foundational cues to see where I am compromising my back. Today was so very helpful. The gentleman that taught me today was so in tune with what I needed to adjust and my back does not hurt today. God Bless and Namaste! I also love a slow pace class for the attention I can give to my breath.

Feel so fortunate to have found this site

For those of you who need to center yourself through yoga before work or a long day this is the place. It saves you from a hectic race to the gym or a studio before a long work day. Regular practice improves your connection with your deeper self. Vikramjeet is the instructor I selected the majority of the time. He has a kind demeanor and sees the humor in many things. You won’t feel self-conscious if you are a beginner. He “bubbles” with laughter- for all.

Help, if ever needed, is so seamless

Besides the instructor, it is so easy to work with the Shvasa team. They are responsive, proactive in reaching out to make sure that my progress is on track, and receive any feedback. They really make me feel like I’m at a local gym - help, if ever needed, is so seamless.

He completed first 12 year phase of discipleship in 2016. Pradeep has also practiced and closely studied the Mysore Astanga Yoga and Iyengar Yoga.

He started practicing yoga as a seven year old, learning some simple classic asanas from his father. Post an engineering degree, devoted full time to studying yoga, graduating from M.Sc. Applied Yogic sciences (from the world’s first yoga university, Bihar Yoga Bharati, Munger, India, with a university gold medal). Yoga philosophy has taught Vikramjeet Singh to believe in dreaming, trusting, challenging and experimenting. His motto us based on a statement that there are no mistakes: there is only learning. Vikramjeet believes that life fe is not about struggles, disappointments, or circumstances, life is about falling in love with the magic that surrounds us.

Yoga for Vikram is the necessary and important way of a self-reflection and of continuous learning rather then simply a profession. Yoga inspires him to experiment again and again, and leads him as a teacher to employ some permutation and combination into his practice also.

This wonderful young gentleman feels blessed to be born in one of the most spiritually energetic places on our planet Earth that nowadays deservingly bears the name of the Yoga Capital of the World, in Rishikesh, Uttarakand, India. Vikram’s yoga journey first of all started with immersion and under the loving guidance of his beloved parents, Avtar Kaur and Surinder Singh.

Nevertheless,Vikram’s whole life has changed when he went to complete his Post-Graduate diploma course in Yoga Therapy in Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala. That was the irreversible moment of realisation of how excited and blessed he is to be a part of the world of yogis. That was also the moment of wanting to share his love of yoga and its benefits with others.

Vikram’s practices same as his classes are a combination of the traditional Hatha yoga with the principles of Iyengar yoga and Vinyasa. The practice he shares is full of mindfulness that includes both slow vinyasa flow with classical asanas with experimental transitions into more passive postures to find your stillness through your mental and physical awareness, that as a result have holistic effect and show you the way to sink deeper into your practice.
